A global insurance analytics firm is seeking a candidate to join its team in London. Responsibilities include managing and analysing portfolio data related to catastrophe risk, preparing data for modelling, and communicating findings to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, maths, or natural sciences, familiarity with insurance markets, and excellent IT skills, including SQL and GIS software. In this role, the individual will work closely with Brokers in the Global Markets Direct and Facultative team. The individual will be required to offer a wide range of analytical services including data management, catastrophe modelling, exposure management, financial modelling, and bespoke analytics. The focus of our service is to provide Brokers with a deeper understanding of their clients' risk from natural and man-made perils such as windstorm, earthquake, severe convective storm, flood and wildfire.
