Job description

Senior Carer

Hours: Days (33 hours per week) or Nights (44 hours per week)

Salary: £14.78 per hour (Days) OR £15.81 per hour (Nights)

Location: Battle, East Sussex, TN33 0HW

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Lead: Guide and inspire the Care Assistant team - including training, supervision and delegating of tasks
  • Clinical Support: medication administration and ordering, resident assessments, care planning, and care reviews. Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and family members
  • Deliver Care: Ensure every resident receives dignified, warm, and individualized support, making the environment welcoming and vibrant.
Essential Criteria:
  • Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. (Candidates with NVQ Level 2 working toward Level 3 may be considered - depending on experience)
  • Knowledge: Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. Trained in medication administration
  • Experience: Previous experience in a residential care setting
  • Character: Warm-hearted, compassionate, and highly committed.
