Senior Care Assistants Needed across the South Coast!

Are you an experienced Care Assistant ready to take the next step in your career?

We are looking for dedicated, compassionate Senior Care Assistants to help in supporting our clients to deliver outstanding care to residents in care homes across Portsmouth to Eastbourne. This includes Chichester, Bognor, Littlehampton, Rustington, Worthing, Shoreham, Peacehaven, Newhaven, and Brighton.

What you need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Previous experience working in a care setting, ideally in a senior role
• Experience in dispensing medication
• A caring nature, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach
• Ability to take leadership in a team and be a team player
• To be hardworking and passionate about your work
• Right to Work in the UK
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check unless you have a DBS on the Update Service

This job role would be perfect for someone who has a busy lifestyle that is looking for care assistant work on an ad‑hoc basis.

The job will consist of caring for residents in care homes, doing personal care, engaging with residents partaking in activities.

As well as this, you will be expected to take on a leadership role as a Senior in our Care / Residential Homes, and a Team Leader in our Support Homes for Learning / Physical disabilities.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Acting as a shift leader or point of contact when on shift
• Ensuring care staff follow correct procedures and care plans
• Writing accurate daily notes, incident reports, and handovers
• Updating care plans and relaying changes to managers.
• Effective communication with staff in the home
• Identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns

The ideal candidate for us will be caring, hardworking, and a team player. You will need to have a minimum of 6 months UK care experience.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship for any candidates. We are, however, able to provide the additional 20 hours for your sponsorship if you already have one.

If your application is successful, when working for us, you can expect to work in and around the Worthing area for our clients. We have clients ranging from Brighton through to Bognor Regis.

Shift patterns range from 6 to 12 hours with the occasional option for overtime whilst on shift.
