A local care provider in the Isle of Wight is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their team. In this rewarding full-time role, you will provide high-quality care to elderly residents and lead a supportive team. A minimum NVQ2 in Health & Social Care is required. We currently operate four care homes; three on the Isle of Wight and one in Fordingbridge, in the New Forest.

We have exciting opportunities for Senior Care Assistants to join our friendly, supportive team at our Ryde care home.

Fairhaven Care Home provides high quality residential and dementia care services for up to 21 elderly residents, and has a CQC rating of Good.

Skills and abilities required:

  • you must have a minimum NVQ2 in Health & Social Care
  • be able to administer and record medication
  • you should have the ability to be able to lead a team, and have good communication skills.

A competitive salary is offered, which will be discussed at the interview. This is a full time position, of 36 hours a week.
