About The Role: This is a full-time role working night shifts only, 8pm – 8am. Full flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement the kind of care that gives our residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. Get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
- Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care; be a positive influence on the team.
- Support residents with daily activities (e.g., assisting with mobility aids, meals), communicate with residents’ families, and provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; administer medication as required.
- Maintain accurate records of the care you provide and build strong relationships with the team.
Qualifications
- Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and are prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with a background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Essential: positive energy, ability to get along with people, strong record-keeping, effective time management, and genuine kindness in communication with residents and colleagues.
