Qualifications

Overview

As a Senior Care Assistant for Maria Mallaband Care Group we ask you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
  • Assist residents with psychological and social support.
  • Support the care team as a senior member and lead activities whenever required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Senior Care Giver, Homecare Worker, in Social Care or as a Community Support Worker.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • Committed and organised approach; confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential for commencement; required to complete on successful appointment if not already obtained).
  • Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care required; willing to complete Level 3 if not obtained.
