Care Concern Group Limited is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Kings Park, a 40-bed home in Ashton-under-Lyne. You will guide and support the team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care, building strong relationships with residents and families.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, oversee medication, monitor wellbeing and maintain accurate care records, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum) required.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Our 40 bedded home provides nursing dementia and residential dementia care. Located in Hurst Cross, Kings Park is a welcoming home with a strong community feel and a supportive team who take pride in creating a positive environment for both residents and colleagues. It is a place where you can build strong relationships, work as part of a close team and make a real difference every day.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

We Are Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach
