Job summary

Kings Park Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is hiring a Night Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care during night shifts. You will support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional well-being, following care plans and ensuring dignity and safety throughout the night.

The role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training, ongoing guidance, and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• SVQ/NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time care ensuring dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Assist residents with daily living: personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in residents' condition to keep care responsive.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a warm, supportive environment for residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45 - £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
• This vacancy is for nights

Role Overview

As a Night Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
