The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead commercial growth across the UK and Benelux energy supplier markets. This role will be pivotal in shaping market strategy, developing high-value partnerships, and delivering significant revenue growth. You will work closely with senior leadership, contributing directly to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a high-impact business development strategy for the UK & Benelux markets.

  • Identify, secure, and grow major corporate accounts and strategic partnerships.

  • Lead negotiations at senior level, managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

  • Provide market intelligence and insight to inform leadership decisions.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to create innovative customer propositions.

  • Build and mentor a pipeline of opportunities, with accountability for revenue and growth targets.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level meetings.

About You
  • Extensive experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic account management within the energy supplier sector (UK and/or Benelux experience strongly).

  • Deep understanding of wholesale/retail energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability trends.

  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and driving strategic growth.

  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills at senior levels.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and geographies.

  • Fluency in English essential; Dutch or French is highly advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel regularly within the UK and Benelux regions.
