Our EMEA Change Delivery organisation is growing in line with business demand and is at the heart of SS&C Client Delivery & Organisational Transformation. We are currently recruiting within our EMEA Enterprise Analysis Practice for a Senior Business Analyst to lead & operate our Life & Pensions existing client change portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage & shape the backlog of change, ensuring quality delivery & client delight.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a self-starter; expert communicator & facilitator of discovery workshops; well experienced in all realms of Business Analysis tools & techniques; and is an expert within the L&P sector. This role provides the right person with a real opportunity to help shape the future of change within the organisation and offers hybrid working with required travel to our Dublin SS&C office.

What You Will Get To Do:
  • Act as the initial conduit for all newly raised client change via our Client Relationship Managers (CRMs);
  • Actively manage, refine & report on the backlog of change, ensuring business prioritisation decisions & escalations are fed into the relevant forums.
  • Act as the contact point for all analysis related queries and pro-actively seek solutions.
  • Lead the ideation of new requests, leading the discovery and due diligence analysis phases to ensure solid foundations are set.
  • Lead the elicitation and documentation of business outcomes & stakeholder needs.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings & workshops and confidently present findings to key stakeholders & clients.
  • Work closely with and act as the conduit between design, architecture and delivery teams maintaining focus on building client-centric solutions.
  • Identify operational impacts and support operational readiness activities to ensure any change is embedded successfully.
  • Provide outcome-based reporting via CR, client, team or delivery progress in the relevant format required.
  • Lead and mentor other junior members of the team to support the growth of a high performing team.
  • Continually share external & internal BA knowledge & experience to boost the evolution of the BA Practice as well as the overall change processes.
What You Will Bring:
Essential:
  • Extensive experience working within the Life & Pensions industry, particularly within an analysis, operational or client facing role leading discovery & delivery BA type activities.
  • General experience operating in an analysis-based role with a full appreciation for BA techniques and the various frameworks i.e. Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, etc.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including client facing experience, working well with others throughout the organisation at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator.
  • Proven champion of change and motivator of others.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead and take ownership.
  • Naturally curious with the desire to constantly improve the status quo.
  • Offer personal agility when responding to change in business demands and lead the way for those more resistant to change.
  • Constantly perform to the best of their ability and encourage others to do the same focused on quality deliverables.
  • Strong desire to support the continued growth of the BA Practice and the company’s strategic goals.
Desired:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, IT or related area,
  • Relevant & industry recognised BA Qualifications provided by BCS, IIBA, ISEB, CBAP, etc,
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones,
