Senior Backend Developer (Typescript, NodeJS)

Looking for a Senior Backend developer with very strong Typescript and NodeJS due to growth and success, for a highly talented development team. My client is looking for an experienced software developer who can hit the ground running from day one with significant commercial experience as a backend developer to work on the following tech stack:

• NodeJS / Typescript / Mocha / Sinon / Terraform / Git / Gitlab CICD / Docker
• AWS (ECS, EC2, Kinesis, Firehose, RDS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS)
• Databases - Postgres / MySQL

As a Senior Developer to lead by example. A strong critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. Someone who can take ownership of projects from design to implementation and work in an Agile environment.

Looking for someone who can lead by example who can balance technical excellence with pragmatic execution, ensuring the product evolves. Personality is key - someone who can take ownership, go above and beyond.

Role context

Specifically, you will play a key role in developing and running a complex multi-environment SaaS product compromised of 70+ git repos using modern microservice backend built in Typescript / NodeJS / Docker on AWS and automated CI/CD pipelines released onto terraform-provisioned infrastructure.

There will be opportunities to learn as well as using your own experience to influence the team and platform.

The role is based in Crewe, Cheshire and does offer hybrid working.
