Carter Murray is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive consultative B2B sales of premium advertising, media and event-based solutions. You will engage CEOs and senior leaders across global industries, selling across technology, AI, energy and more.

The role is fully remote with substantial autonomy, international travel, and strong earning potential for top performers. You will build a robust pipeline and close strategic deals with senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, business development, advertising, media, events, sponsorship or related commercial environment.
• Confident engaging with senior and C-suite decision-makers.
• Consultative sales style rather than purely transactional.
• Strong commercial instincts with ability to spot opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and own your pipeline.
• Genuine interest in global markets and current affairs.
• Strong organisational skills and proactive approach.
• Excellent English; foreign language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with CEOs, senior executives, marketing leaders and PR professionals.
• Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client priorities.
• Sell premium advertising, media and event packages.
• Identify new commercial opportunities and develop your pipeline.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact to close.
• Develop understanding of industries and international markets.
• Collaborate with internal research to identify prospects and opportunities.
• Manage territory and schedule in a remote environment.
• Travel internationally to meet clients and develop new markets.
