Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting a Senior Account Manager for a leading aviation business in Doncaster. You will own key accounts end-to-end, overseeing contracts, driving commercial outcomes, and aligning operations with customer KPIs. This on-site role requires strong stakeholder management and leadership to mentor junior team members.

You will lead negotiations, manage performance reviews, and liaise with Production, Planning and Materials to ensure timely delivery and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven track record in aviation account management with customer-facing roles.
• Strong contract management and commercial negotiation experience.
• Knowledge of Part-145 maintenance operations and related processes.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver KPI-driven outcomes.
• Leadership experience mentoring Account Managers.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned customer accounts
• Managing customer contracts and ensuring compliance with commercial terms
• Maximising contract value in line with agreed terms and scope
• Attending customer meetings, wash-ups, and performance reviews
• Issuing contract briefs to operational teams to support delivery
• Reviewing and negotiating additional Customer Work Requests (CWRs)
• Liaising with Production, Planning and Materials teams to support delivery
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities across accounts
• Ensuring work orders, billing and invoicing activity is accurate and delivered to KPI
• Producing performance summaries and customer reporting post-input
• Supporting proposals, quotations and contract renewals
• Leading, mentoring and supporting Account Managers within the team
• Deputising for the Commercial Director when required
