Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager for a leading aerospace and defence technology business. Hybrid working options available: 3 days on site, 2 days at home, to shape and deliver commercial strategies across programmes.

You will lead commercial activity, manage contractual risk, support bids, negotiate agreements, and work with senior stakeholders to ensure robust governance and successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defence or government contracting.
• Proven track record managing large, complex contracts.
• Ability to interpret complex commercial, financial and technical data.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on commercial performance of programmes.
• Identify and manage contractual risk throughout the lifecycle.
• Support new business cases and work-winning activity.
• Support programme delivery and financial performance.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and resolve issues with senior stakeholders.
• Draft contracts and bespoke clauses for new and existing business.
• Own key commercial aspects of programmes, including relationships and governance.
• Ensure robust contract administration and governance throughout delivery.
