Private Wealth Senior Associate | 4+ PQE | Farnborough

A strong opportunity to join a long-established, full‑service practice with a recognised reputation for both business and private client work across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, and the Thames Valley. This is a key senior hire within a growing private wealth team that supports a broad, sophisticated client base and continues to develop year on year.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take a leading role within the Wills, Trusts & Private Wealth team, handling complex matters and helping shape the department’s continued growth.

  • Managing a varied, high-quality caseload across wills, trusts, inheritance tax planning and probate
  • Advising individuals, families, business owners and HNW clients on succession planning, estate structuring and long‑term wealth protection
  • Working collaboratively with family, real estate and corporate colleagues to deliver integrated, multi‑disciplinary advice
  • Acting as a senior point of contact on technical issues and supporting junior lawyers with mentoring and guidance
  • Building lasting client relationships through clear communication, a personal approach and strong commercial awareness
  • Contributing to the department’s wider profile through thought leadership, networking and client‑facing initiatives
About You

You’ll bring a strong technical foundation and a calm, thoughtful approach to client relationships.

  • 4+ PQE in private wealth, wills & trusts or a closely related area
  • Solid experience across probate, trusts, estate planning and tax considerations
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and empathy
  • Confident managing complex caseloads with minimal supervision
  • STEP qualification, or interest in pursuing this (advantageous but not essential)
