A prestigious university in Greater London is looking for a proactive Senior Assessments Officer to manage the administrative operations of its in-person examinations service. You will ensure efficient exam delivery for thousands of students while maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in event management and a commitment to quality assurance, alongside proficiency in tools such as Excel and various scheduling software. We are the Examinations Team. We manage the organisation and operation of over 2,600 invigilated examinations annually for more than 120,000 King's College London students.
We are responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive service that is fit for purpose and evolves constantly to meet the needs of our students. This includes devising and implementing all associated business processes to ensure they are responsive and proactive, and driving a culture of service management and improvement that centres our students at the heart of the service.
We are part of the wider Students & Education Directorate, a collection of wide-ranging professional services in place to support King's students and their education. As a directorate we manage the student lifecycle from application to graduation and beyond, to ensure a coherent and seamless student experience and effective administrative processes, working closely with King's faculties to do so.
We are recruiting for a flexible and proactive Senior Assessments Officer who will be responsible for the administrative operations of the university's in-person examinations service. The role holder will work alongside the operational team to ensure the successful delivery of in-person examinations.
This is an exciting opportunity for colleagues looking to work closely with students and who wish to utilise their skills and expertise in supporting large‑scale exams and complex high‑stakes administrative processes.
