Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a self-driven Senior Account Manager for the North-West region, covering the UK & Ireland. The role combines strategic account management with growth through distribution partners, inbound from external partners and internal units.

You will develop long-term account strategies, expand portfolio share with distribution partners, and translate market opportunities into sustainable growth, with about 30% travel and a hybrid/home-office setup.

Qualifications

• Degree level education in Engineering or related field with proven sales/account management/distribution track record.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, fluid conveyance, electronics, or electrification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account growth plans that strengthen distribution partners and deliver sales and profitability goals.
• Drive business by identifying and developing new sales opportunities and maintain a transparent opportunity pipeline using CRM.
• Provide technical insight to guide distribution partners and know when to involve specialist expertise; support partners in sales to end customers.
• Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and support partners in strengthening their position in local markets.
• Promote current solutions and new innovations by demonstrating their applications and value to customers.
• Collaborate across engineering, business units, sales, order management, product management, supply chain, and R&D for coordinated customer support.
• Monitor competitors, market and technology trends and convert insights into actions with partners.
