Job summary

Danfoss in the UK & Ireland is seeking a self-driven Senior Account Manager for the North-West region to grow profitable sales through distribution partners. The role is home-office based or hybrid with about 30% travel inside the UK & Ireland.

You will develop account growth plans, leverage CRM for opportunity management, and provide technical guidance to partners while coordinating with engineering, sales, and supply chain to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Degree level education in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven track record in sales, account management or distribution.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, fluid conveyance, electronics or electrification.
• Fluent in English – written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel within role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account growth plans that strengthen distribution partners and deliver sales and profitability goals.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities, maintain a transparent opportunity pipeline in CRM.
• Provide technical insight and involve specialists when needed; support partners in sales to end customers.
• Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and strengthen partners' positions.
• Promote current solutions and new innovations and demonstrate value.
• Collaborate across engineering, business units, sales, order management, product management, supply chain, and R&D to ensure coordinated support.
• Monitor competitors and market trends; translate insights into actions with partners.
