Senior Account Handler / Trainee Account Executive – Leeds / Flexible

This is a fantastic opportunity with a quality independent and chartered insurance brokerage based in the Leeds area. This is the perfect role for an experienced commercial broker or account handler looking to step into a client facing Account Executive position.

The role will initially be hybrid, a mixture of broking larger cases as well inheriting a number of clients for which you will take full Account Executive responsibility, including attending face to face meetings.

Ideal applicants will have a good solid commercial insurance background covering most classes of business and be making progress towards CII qualifications, which will of course be fully supported and funded by our client.

Applicants will be smart, professional and client focused, with a natural inclination to provide exceptional customer service. As the role develops, you will be more focused on your Account Executive duties, gradually inheriting a greater volume of existing clients and quality incoming leads for you have a crack at converting.

As an independent broker, our client is keen to ensure that there is a nice variety of work and client exposure, an excellent and flexible working environment and plenty of opportunity for you to progress within the business, realistically through to Director Level.

Although the office is fully open, there is a flexible working environment available with a good mix of home and office working.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary and benefits package + once at Account Executive level you can expect a car allowance.
