2 new excellent new opportunities have arisen working for this brokerage within their Nottingham operation. This company are a leading insurance and risk management intermediary with client portfolio’s ranging from small owner-managed business to multi-national organisations.

They are seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler and Commercial Account Handler where you would be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, and having regular contact with them, negotiating broking strategies and obtaining the best possible terms from the market place. You will be the 1st point of contact for the client on technical matters, overseeing the whole renewal process from start to finish; processing MTA’s/changes to the risk/policies. Both roles would also be working closely with their team of Account Executives.

You will need to have a good understanding of the various commercial insurance markets and their underwriting guidelines/capacities, are competent and technically strong on most classes of commercial insurance business. It is therefore essential that you can communicate at all levels and have previously worked within an intermediary/insurer environment and or underwriting/commercial broking/account handler role.

This company are an investor in its work force and therefore career progression and desire to pursue or continue industry studies would be fully supported in addition to an attractive salary and package.

For the Senior Handler a basic salary of up to £40k would be provided and for the Handler role up to and around £35k
