We are looking for a bright, confident, dynamic and can‑do Senior Account Director on a Fixed Term Contract (6 months) to work on one of our largest accounts. You’ll play a key role in leading our media activity reporting into an experienced Business Director and working within a Client Leadership team of 20.
This is one of the biggest accounts in the agency and still growing with a c.45‑strong team. We have had the account since 2002 and the client satisfaction scores have consistently been among the highest in the agency. We are a big team doing innovative work that spans every capability in the agency. We are also a mini agency within RAPP with a friendly family dynamic.

You’re trusted as a key influencer and driver of our successful client business. That’s because you bring two unique skills; a birds‑eye‑view and hands‑on involvement in your client’s business. With the seniority of your position you instinctively know how to lead happy and effective teams, getting the very best out of your colleagues. And with your deep knowledge and expertise regarding your client’s you spot opportunities and risks early on. You then help the agency tackle these things proactively. You lead calmly but with conviction. When it comes to presenting you naturally have the authority and gravitas to hold a room. You’re the head of a happy and effective team always getting the best out of them. And you’re first in line when it comes to positive challenge.
Commercially you’re buttoned‑down. That means at any point you always know the financial status and health of your business. As a leader you inspire your agency team to always deliver more: more work, more revenue, more satisfaction. You take responsibility for influencing and delivering against commercial targets.
You inspire your team to create braver and better work, making sure they instigate it and then unleash it. You’re the most senior Client Leadership on the account that is responsible and accountable for the E2E delivery of client work – so you’re responsible for your direct reports’ output as well as ensuring that the team is on track delivering to a high standard and the client team is satisfied with overall output. You are also responsible for managing up to your Business Director on the delivery remit within your workstreams, escalating any client / team issues and reinforcing team success.
This account is likely to be the most multi‑faceted and strategic account you’ll work on for three reasons:
This is a unique role. You won’t just get involved in creative communications you also have the opportunity to shape customer experiences across all channels including digital, F2F and the call centre, building broader marketing skills. You will be involved in the commercials, building business cases, operations plus exposure to senior stakeholders.
