Job summary

Nextech Group in Tamworth is looking for a skilled 3rd Line IT Engineer to own complex escalations, lead infrastructure projects, and support a diverse client base in B2B and education sectors.

You will work hands-on across Azure, on-premise, and cloud environments, mentoring junior engineers and delivering meaningful solutions. This is a patient, project-driven role within a collaborative MSP team.

Qualifications

• 3rd line experience within an MSP preferred.
• Ability to manage complex technical escalations.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex 3rd line escalations across networking, servers, cloud, and security.
• Lead and deliver infrastructure projects – cloud migrations, network deployments, virtualization.
• Design and implement solutions across Azure, Microsoft 365, and on-premise environments.
• Manage client infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and virtualization platforms.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Produce clear technical documentation and project plans.
• Collaborate with clients in B2B and education sectors.
