Job summary

Nextech Group seeks a Senior Service Desk Engineer to join its West Sussex-based team. You will handle high-level escalations, provide remote support across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and cloud environments, and occasionally visit client sites for hands-on work.

This is a hybrid role with up to two days from home. You will work within an established MSP, delivering complex technical solutions while maintaining excellent customer communication and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in MSP or managed services environment is valuable.
• Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and cloud environments.
• Ability to handle senior escalations and communicate with customers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex escalations from the service desk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced infrastructure, cloud and networking issues.
• Provide remote technical support to a broad customer base.
• Work across Microsoft 365, Windows Server and cloud environments.
• Support networking, security, backup and virtualization technologies.
• Communicate with customers throughout the support process.
• Occasionally visit customer sites for hands-on support.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and ticket updates.
