Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to own and resolve complex technical escalations across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V/VMware, Citrix and networking environments in UK client sites.

You’ll work in a senior technical support function focused on in-depth problem diagnosis, infrastructure improvements and project work, with clear escalation paths and hands-on ownership of incidents.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting Microsoft and infrastructure environments.
• Able to troubleshoot cross-system issues with multiple suppliers.
• Experience in MSP or multi-customer support environment is important.
• Experience operating at 3rd line or senior technical support level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own technically challenging escalations from 1st/2nd line.
• Investigate and resolve or escalate with clear paths.
• Perform planned maintenance, patching, configuration changes.
• Support 1st/2nd line engineers through guidance and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with customers and keep tickets moving.
