Job summary

A family-run nursery provider in Churwell is seeking a qualified SENDCO to lead support for children with special educational needs. Qualifications

• Must have experience working at a senior level in early years.

What a SENDCO needs :

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
• Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.
• Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
• Ability to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings
