Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Teachers to provide one-to-one support for the most in-need young people, across specialisms as a SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher. Multiple positions are available with rolling interviews and flexible, client-driven schedules.

Based in the UK, you will deliver in-person, online/remote, and hybrid lessons with a trauma-informed approach, supporting KS1–KS5 learners with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Ability to deliver trauma-informed, student-centred tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Adapt the curriculum to individual EHCP and risk assessments where needed.
