Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Specialist Teachers to deliver one-to-one support for SEND learners, working across SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor and SEND Teacher roles. Roles involve in-home, community-based, and online sessions, with flexible scheduling and safeguarding checks.

Applicants should have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience and QTS/QTLS, plus a holistic, trauma-informed approach. Self-employed contract, UK-based, with DBS assistance provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD experience.
• QTS/QTLS required and demonstrable safeguarding knowledge.
• Ability to work in a child-centred, holistic way with creativity.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments.
• Plan sessions and share regular progress updates with the team.
