Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom seeks dedicated SEND Teachers to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with SEND across SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD, in homes and community settings.

You will plan and deliver trauma-informed, student-centred lessons, with flexible in-person, online, and hybrid teaching arrangements. This role offers meaningful impact and ongoing interviews as applications arrive.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• QTS or QTLS qualification.
• Child-centred holistic approach; creative curriculum adaptation.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ references.
• Based in the UK with right to work.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with SEND learners using trauma-informed methods.
• Deliver in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring for SEMH/SEND.
• Plan and deliver flexible tutoring and mentoring from KS1–KS5.
• Plan lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
