Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Teachers to provide one-to-one support for learners with SEND across KS1–KS5. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor and Specialist Teacher in a trauma-informed framework.

Positions offer in-person, hybrid and remote teaching with flexible hours negotiated with clients. DBS checks and references are required, as part of safeguarding and safety commitments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• QTS / QTLS qualification required.
• Holistic, trauma-informed teaching approach to engaging learners.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring to KS1–KS5 learners.
• Plan lessons and provide feedback on student progress.
• Create a safe learning environment in line with safeguarding policies.
