Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Teachers in Southampton to provide one-to-one support for children with SEND/SEMH needs. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with flexible hours and in-person, hybrid, or remote work.

Applicants should have 2+ years post-NQT experience, QTS/QTLS, and a trauma-informed approach. DBS clearance and references are required; positions are self-employed with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach.
• Ability to work across specialisms as a SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are provided or facilitated.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people who have SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring tailored to individual needs.
• Plan and report lessons and give regular feedback on student progress.
