Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Specialist Teachers to provide one-to-one support for SEND and SEMH students in Woking. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring, with flexible hours and a focus on trauma-informed, student-centered approaches.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience and QTS/QTLS, and are committed to delivering personalized education in a supportive community. Self-employed opportunities are available, with ongoing interviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher for Later Life (QTLS) is required.
• Experience delivering one-to-one or small group support to learners with SEND.
• Able to work flexibly across in-person, online and hybrid settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver one-to-one or small group tutoring tailored to the learner’s needs.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and schools to support progress.
• Deliver sessions in-person, online or hybrid formats and adapt to each student’s EHCP.
