Job description

Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in North Manchester (covering Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, and Moston) for consistent, full-time placements.

Your New Position:
  • Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30.

  • Focus: Providing tailored support to pupils with autism (ASC), SEMH, or complex needs.

  • Reliability: You will become a vital part of the school community, staying with your assigned student/class for the rest of the school year.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Proven Experience: At least 6 months of UK-based experience in a SEND setting.

  • Knowledge: Ideally Level 2 or 3 qualified with an understanding of individual education plans (IEPs).

  • Additional Training: Experience with PECS, Makaton, or de-escalation training (Team Teach) is highly desired.

  • Flexibility: A willingness to commute to various school sites across North Manchester.
