Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs, enabling them to achieve their full potential. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, building respectful relationships and working with teachers to deliver tailored assistance.

Ideal candidates are calm, patient and have strong communication and behaviour management skills. Previous SEND experience is valued, with opportunities for day‑to‑day, long‑term or permanent placements and flexible

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting.
• Calm, patient and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Committed to helping every child succeed.
