Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an SEND Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with SEND in Leicester. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions and help pupils engage positively with their learning and development.

The role requires experience with SEND, calm and patient communication, and a genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• A good understanding of additional needs including Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
