Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming school environment. • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience working with children or individuals with SEND (in a school setting or personal experience)
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Education

Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs is desirable but not mandatory.

Knowledge and Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions

• Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
