Job summary

Flourish Education are working with a specialist SEN school in Malvern who are seeking a QTS-qualified SEN Teacher from November 2026 until July 2027.

The successful candidate will plan differentiated lessons and support pupils with SEMH, autism and ADHD, while collaborating with specialist staff to support pupils academically, socially and emotionally.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience teaching in SEN settings.
• Knowledge of SEMH, Autism and ADHD.
• Experience supporting challenging behaviour.
• Strong ability to differentiate and adapt teaching.
• Excellent communication within a specialist team.

Responsibilities

Flourish Education are working with a specialist SEN school in Malvern who are seeking a QTS-qualified SEN Teacher from November 2026 until July 2027.

The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and behavioural needs. The successful candidate will provide structured teaching and work closely with specialist staff to support pupils academically, socially and emotionally.

Job Role:

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons

• Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and complex needs

• Adapt teaching to individual learning profiles

• Assess and monitor pupil progress

• Support emotional regulation

• Implement positive behaviour strategies

• Work alongside specialist Teaching Assistants

• Contribute to EHCP outcomes

• Encourage independence and confidence

Required Skills and Experience:

• QTS is essential

• Previous teaching experience

• SEN or specialist-school experience

• Knowledge of SEMH, Autism and ADHD

• Experience supporting challenging behaviour

• Strong behaviour management

• Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work effectively within a specialist team

Benefits of Working as an SEN Teacher with Flourish Education:

• Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 per day, equivalent to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working five days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience (M1–M6)

Location

This role is based in Malvern and is easily commutable from Great Malvern, Worcester, Upton-upon-Severn, Ledbury, Pershore, Evesham and surrounding areas.
