Job summary

Flourish Education in Bromsgrove is recruiting a SEN Teacher for a specialist school, commencing in September 2026 and lasting until the Easter holidays 2027. The role involves delivering an accessible curriculum to pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex needs, with support from specialist staff.

Ideally you are an experienced QTS-qualified teacher with SEN experience, capable of differentiated teaching, positive behaviour strategies and building strong pupil relationships.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Previous teaching experience.
• SEN or specialist-school experience is desirable.
• Understanding of ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
• Experience supporting challenging behaviour.
• Strong knowledge of differentiated and adaptive teaching.
• Confident classroom management.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons within a specialist setting.
• Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex needs.

• Monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation.
• Manage behaviour using appropriate positive strategies.

Job description

Flourish Education are recruiting for an SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Bromsgrove, starting in September 2026 and continuing until the Easter holidays 2027.

The school provides specialist education for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, complex learning difficulties and behavioural needs. You will be responsible for delivering an accessible and engaging curriculum while working closely with specialist support staff.

This opportunity would suit an experienced QTS-qualified teacher who has worked within SEN education and is confident supporting pupils with a range of complex needs.

Benefits of Working as an SEN Teacher with Flourish Education:

• Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 per day, equivalent to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working five days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience (M1–M6)

This SEN Teacher role is based in a specialist school in Bromsgrove and is easily commutable from Catshill, Rubery, Alvechurch, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Worcester and surrounding areas.
