Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in North Bristol is seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist Resource Base in a welcoming primary school. The role supports pupils with SEND, helping learning, development, communication and wellbeing, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

You will work closely with teachers, SEND professionals and families to deliver tailored learning programmes, promote social and emotional development, and create an inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Must have professional experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Must be patient, caring and proactive in supporting learning and wellbeing.
• DBS Update Service awareness or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils within the Resource Base and mainstream classrooms.
• Support delivery of personalised learning programmes and interventions.
• Promote social, emotional and communication development.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEND professionals and families.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with personal care where required.
