Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is assisting a friendly primary school near Stoke Gifford in finding dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

You will deliver 1:1 and small-group support, assist with lesson delivery, and help pupils build confidence, independence and engagement. Experience with SEND and an Enhanced DBS are preferred; full-time, ongoing start. This role offers a rewarding pathway for graduates or those with youth work backgrounds into education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in school, SEND, care, youth work, or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, reliability and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Encourage pupil confidence, independence and engagement.
• Support children with additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language and other SEND).
• Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
