Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in the Bristol area is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to provide tailored 1:1 support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This role is full time with an immediate start and offers ongoing development opportunities within Primary, Secondary, and SEND settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a school, SEND, care, youth work, or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, reliable, and adaptable.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply.
• Able to provide 24 months worth of references.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement.
• Supporting children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language and other SEND.
• Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
