Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Bristol is seeking caring, patient individuals to support pupils with additional needs in a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP or in September. Whether you have worked as a SEND Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or in related care roles, your experience could be exactly what schools are looking for.

You'll work one-to-one and in small groups, helping pupils access learning, build confidence and develop communication and social skills, while collaborating with

Qualifications

Experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable adults.
Background in SEND, care, support work or mentoring.
Calm, patient and resilient.
Ability to build positive relationships and inspire confidence.
Willingness to commit to a rewarding, long-term role.

Responsibilities

Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs.
Work one-to-one and in small groups.
Help pupils access learning and achieve their goals.
Build positive relationships that help children feel safe and supported.
Support emotional wellbeing, communication and social development.
Work closely with teachers, SENDCOs and specialist staff.
