Job summary

Cotham School in Bristol is seeking Learning Support Assistants to support SEND students who require 1:1 or shared support in school. You will support learning as well as the social and emotional development of pupils on an individual or group basis, under the direction of your line manager.

This fixed-term role offers part-time or full-time options, 30 hours per week during term time, with a starting pro rata salary of £19,339 actual or £27,274 full-time equivalent per year.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND students.
• Ability to work with pupils individually or in groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support to SEND students, 1:1 or in small groups.
• Support social and emotional development of pupils under line manager guidance.
• Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
