Job summary

Cotham School in Bristol is seeking Learning Support Assistants to support SEND students who require 1:1 or shared support in school. You will support learning as well as the social and emotional development of pupils on an individual or group basis, under the direction of your line manager.

This fixed-term role offers part-time or full-time options, 30 hours per week during term time, with a starting pro rata salary of £19,339 actual or £27,274 full-time equivalent per year.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND students.
• Ability to work with pupils individually or in groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support to SEND students, 1:1 or in small groups.
• Support social and emotional development of pupils under line manager guidance.

Cotham School, a successful, vibrant and diverse 11-18 comprehensive school, wishes to appoint Learning Support Assistants for SEND students who require 1:1 or shared support in school. You will be required to provide support for learning as well as the social/emotional development of other students on an individual or group basis, under the general direction of the line manager. £19,339 actual salary Fixed term contract Cotham School Learning Support Assistants (LSA) - full and part time vacancies are available Salary: G7.7 - starting salary £27,274 per annum pro rata, £19,339 actual salary Hours: 30 hours per week full time, term time only. Temporary contract to start as soon as possible until 20.07.2027. Probation period: This role is subject to passing a satisfactory probation period.,
