Job summary

Five Education is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with various additional needs at a specialist provision school in Bristol. This position offers full-time or part-time opportunities, ideally looking for applicants passionate about helping children access education in a nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will provide individualized support, work with teachers to meet learning targets, and contribute to a safe and engaging atmosphere. Five Education also offers specialized training and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Confident in supporting a range of additional needs.
• Able to provide two recent references.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
• Support pupils with learning and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support individual learning plans.
