Job summary

SENse Learning in Horsham, United Kingdom, is seeking Intervention Tutors to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners across KS1–KS5. Roles involve delivering bespoke, trauma-informed, interest-led sessions in-person, online, or hybrid, helping students re-engage with education in a supportive environment.

You will work as a self-employed tutor, with flexible hours and scheduling agreed with families or schools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS required.
• Child-centred, trauma-informed approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid 1-1 tutoring for SEND learners.
• Plan and report lessons with regular progress feedback.
• Build strong relationships with children and young people.
• Work with parents, carers or schools to tailor sessions.
