Job summary

SENse Learning is recruiting Intervention Tutors to support young people with SEND across Swindon through 1-1, bespoke sessions. You will work in a child-centred, trauma-informed way, delivering in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring to help pupils re-engage with education and build confidence.

The role offers flexible hours, competitive pay (£35–£45 per hour) and the chance to join a supportive team dedicated to SEND learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PM LD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references are needed.
• UK-based with the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-1 bespoke interventions for SEND learners in a trauma-informed way.
• Provide in-person, online/remote and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons and report progress to parents, carers or schools.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and create a safe learning environment.
