Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Intervention Tutors to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners, covering SEND Tutor, Specialist Teacher, and SEND Teacher roles. Multiple positions available; interviews arranged as applications are received.

You will work in an impact-first environment, delivering bespoke, trauma-informed sessions, with flexible schedules including in-person, hybrid, and online options. You must be UK-based with QTS/QTLS and DBS in place.

Qualifications

• Post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic, trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• UK-based with right to work; DBS preferred.
• Ability to plan and deliver trauma-informed, student-centred tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback.
• Deliver flexible, bespoke interventions to re-engage students.
