Job summary

SENse Learning is recruiting Intervention Tutors in Croydon to deliver one-to-one support for SEND/SEMH learners. You will conduct in-person, online, and hybrid sessions, tailoring interventions to individual needs and EHCP plans.

This is a self-employed tutoring role with flexible hours and ongoing interviews. We expect 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and a trauma-informed, child-centred approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) required.
• Child-centred, holistic approach with creativity to tailor the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Deliver bespoke, one-to-one lessons across KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback.
