Job summary

SENse Learning is recruiting Intervention Tutors to deliver 1-1, bespoke tutoring for SEND learners across the UK. You will support pupils with SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD in a child-centred, trauma-informed way, delivering sessions in person, online, or hybrid, tailored to each EHCP and risk plan.

We welcome experienced teachers with QTS/QTLS, DBS ready, and a commitment to safeguarding. Flexible referrals and independence under a contract for services empower you to shape your schedule and impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD
• QTS or QTLS required
• Child-centred, holistic approach; creative curriculum adaptation
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references required

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to EHCP and risk assessments
• Plan sessions and share progress updates with the student’s team
• Deliver 1:1, trauma-informed, bespoke interventions across SEND/SEMH needs
