A family-owned nursery in Ascot is seeking a qualified practitioner to join its team. The role involves delivering high-quality Montessori and EYFS-based activities, supporting the growth and development of children. Candidates should have relevant SENCO credentials, effective communication skills, and a passion for early childhood development. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of £13.50-£14.00 per hour with a 24-month contract, focusing on creating a nurturing environment for young learners.
Storybook Montessori is a family-owned nursery dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education through Montessori and EYFS principles. Our fully refurbished environment is designed to foster learning, creativity, and development for young children, with a focus on high-quality care and professional staff.
We are seeking a qualified practitioner to join our team at Storybook Montessori in the GB. As a key member of our educational staff, you will contribute to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, supporting their growth and development aligned with our values of quality education and care.
Deliver high-quality Montessori and EYFS-based activities tailored to children's developmental needs. Support children's social, emotional, and educational development through engaging activities. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum plans. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones. Support behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior. Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.
Qualified practitioner with relevant SENCO credentials. Experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Montessori and EYFS teaching methods. Ability to manage behavior effectively. Passion for early childhood development. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Commitment to continuous professional development.
